What’s the difference between rotating and fixed boom telehandlers?
A fixed boom telehandler has a non-rotating frame, so the boom only works forward and you need to move the machine to change angles. A rotating telehandler has a 360° turret, letting it work in any direction without repositioning. Fixed booms are simpler, more affordable, and great for straightforward lifting. How do I choose the right telehandler for my project?
The best way is to talk to one of our Lift & Shift Consultants. We’ll ask a few quick questions about your lift (load, reach, height, ground conditions and access) then recommend the best telehandler and attachments for the job. We can jump on a call or visit your site to make sure you get the right machine.
Does APS Equipment offer operator training in 2026?
Yes, APS Equipment can arrange operator training. We work with certified trainers to ensure operators are properly qualified and confident using our telehandlers.
