A private building company in East Auckland have purchased a Magni rotating telehandler in favour of hiring a tower crane. This is for a multi storey apartment block on a tight worksite, where the Magni can manoeuvre around the site and complete all the lifts with ease. This means a larger mobile crane is only needed for the heavy pre-cast lifts.
The selection of quick change attachments means the rotating telehandler has greater versatility and better utilisation than a crane.
The operator can change attachments within minutes choosing between forks, hook, winch, fly winch, bucket or work platform (EWP) this all helps to speed up production and saves the cost of hiring extra equipment.
