Magni FL rough terrain forklifts bring genuine off-road capability to yard and site material handling. Four diesel models from 2.5 to 5 ton capacity, with switchable 4WD, high ground clearance and wide-track off-road tyres for confident work on uneven, muddy or sloping ground where a standard industrial forklift stops being viable. Sales, hire and nationwide support from APS Equipment — New Zealand’s Magni specialists.
Is a rough terrain forklift the right machine?A standard counterbalance forklift is built for sealed, level surfaces. Put one on a metalled yard, a wet site or a gradient and you lose traction, ground clearance and stability — and you start damaging the machine. The Magni FL range is built the other way around: switchable 4WD and 2WD so you're not carrying drivetrain losses on hardstand, oil-immersed brakes for durability under repeated loaded stops, dash-activated differential lock, and 25 km/h travel for moving between work areas rather than crawling.Rough terrain forklift or telehandler? If the work is high-cycle pallet and materials movement across unsealed ground, the FL range is the more efficient and more affordable machine. If you need reach, height, or the ability to place a load over an obstacle, you want a telehandler — talk to us about the Magni TH range instead. We're happy to tell you which one you actually need.Specification and cab optionsThe FL range is available in Stage V and Stage IIIA ("A") configurations, and cab specification differs between them. Open and enclosed cabs are available, with air-conditioning and heating on the enclosed option. Talk to us about the right configuration for your conditions before you commit — New Zealand sites and New Zealand winters aren't the assumption these machines are built to by default.Sales, hire and supportAPS Equipment supplies, hires and supports the Magni range nationwide, with operator familiarisation on handover and parts and service backing behind every machine.
